Orthodontics

We have been treating orthodontic patients with non metal orthodontic solutions for many years. Although these solutions are not suitable for everyone, they are a very convenient method of straightening your teeth if the option is available to you.

Both Inman Aligner orthodontics and Invisalign orthodontics offer clear, simple options for straightening teeth. Invisalign and Inman Aligner orthodontics are virtually invisible alternatives to metal braces, which use a series of custom-made, clear, removable aligners that gradually move teeth towards their ideal position.

Orthodontics is the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of problems in the alignment of teeth and jaws.

The technical term for these problems is malocclusion, which literally means bad bite. That is, the top and bottom rows of teeth are incorrectly aligned and affecting your speaking, biting and chewing habits. Malocclusion can also result in tooth decay as crowded or crooked teeth can be can be hard to clean. Abnormal wear of the tooth surfaces can lead to excess stress on the tooth, gum and jaw bone resulting in long term dental and facial issues.

There’s no doubt that our patients feel more confident with their new smiles once the orthodontic treatment is complete.

Inman Aligner

The Inman Aligner provides a fast, effective orthodontic treatment for suitable patients. Corrections can be made in as little as 6 weeks. As time goes by, your teeth tend to shift, sometimes causing your front top and bottom teeth to become crooked. At first glance you may think you need braces, however with the patented Inman Aligner orthodontics treatment, your front teeth can be gently guided to an ideal position quickly and effectively, in a matter of weeks. The Inman Aligner works by applying a gentle pressure to the teeth that need to be moved to an ideal position. This gentle process is provided by the spring action of the appliance.

Invisalign

If you are looking for a transparent, flexible, alternative to braces to straighten your teeth, Invisalign may be an option for you. Invisalign treatment is suitable for adults and teens depending on your situation.

Invisalign treatment consists of a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that you change every two weeks for the next set of aligners. Each aligner is individually manufactured for your teeth, and your teeth only. Treatment plans range on average from 12 – 24 months. As you replace each aligner, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final position prescribed by your dentist.
